A Medal of Honour for RAAD Tactical

A Medal of Honour for RAAD Tactical

Some moments mean far more to us than business, sales, or recognition.

Recently, Lt Col Shahid Ali of the Pakistan Army was injured in a mine/IED blast while performing his duty. Among the images of this brave officer, there is something deeply meaningful for the entire team at RAAD Tactical: he was wearing our Haider Combat Shirt.

For us, seeing a product carrying the RAAD name being worn by a soldier in such circumstances is not something we look at as a commercial achievement. We consider it a medal of honour.

The Haider Shirt was created for the men who operate in demanding environments, but seeing it actually being worn in the field, during a real operation and at a moment when an officer put his own life at risk in the line of duty, gives an entirely different meaning to our work.

We have photographs of Lt Col Shahid wearing the Haider Shirt before, and even after being injured, he can be seen wearing the same RAAD Tactical shirt. For the people who designed, stitched, improved, and worked on this product, there can be no greater recognition.

It is also a powerful reminder of the responsibility we carry.

When we manufacture tactical equipment, we are not simply making another piece of clothing or gear. Someone may wear it on the day they face the most difficult moments of their service. That thought pushes us to keep improving every stitch, material, design, and detail.

We pray for the complete and speedy recovery of Lt Col Shahid Ali, and we salute his courage, sacrifice, and service to Pakistan.

For RAAD Tactical, seeing the Haider Shirt serving alongside such brave men will always remain one of our proudest honours.

Some products are sold.
Some become part of a story.
And some become a medal of honour.
