HAIDER by RAAD — The Combat Shirt Taking Over the Field

Haider Combat Shirt by RAAD Tactical: Built Through the Field, Not Just Designed for It

For RAAD Tactical, the Haider Combat Shirt represents much more than another tactical clothing product. It represents years of development, field experience, feedback, and our belief that tactical clothing in Pakistan should be designed around the actual environment and requirements of the people who wear it.

RAAD Tactical began its journey with tactical shirts. As the company grew into plate carriers, war belts, tactical bags, optics, weapon accessories and broader defence solutions, combat clothing remained an important part of our identity. (raadtac.shop)

The Haider series is the result of that journey.

Designed for Pakistan’s Operational Environment

Pakistan presents a difficult environment for tactical clothing.

Personnel may spend long hours operating in intense summer heat, dust, humidity and physically demanding conditions, often while wearing a plate carrier or other load-bearing equipment over their uniform.

A conventional uniform shirt is not always ideal for these conditions.

The Haider Combat Shirt was therefore developed with a strong emphasis on breathability, mobility and comfort without compromising the durability required from operational clothing.

The current Haider design uses lightweight materials together with strategically positioned mesh areas to improve airflow and moisture management. Reinforced shoulder and sleeve areas are intended to provide greater resistance to abrasion in the areas that receive more wear during operational use. (raadtac.shop)

The Haider Philosophy: Improve What the Operator Actually Needs

One of the principles behind RAAD Tactical’s product development is simple:

A tactical product is never truly finished.

Every generation can be improved.

Feedback from personnel wearing the equipment, observations from the field, changes in load-bearing systems and Pakistan’s climate all influence how we approach the next version.

The Haider shirt has followed the same philosophy.

Rather than creating a shirt primarily around appearance, our focus has been on how it behaves when worn for extended periods, how easily the operator can move, how heat escapes from the body and how the shirt interacts with equipment worn over it.

That philosophy ultimately led to the development of the upgraded Haider Gen-2.

Haider Gen-2: A More Refined Combat Shirt

Haider Gen-2 builds upon the original concept with improvements intended particularly for hot-weather operations.

One of its most important characteristics is its breathable construction. Mesh ventilation in key areas helps increase airflow and manage heat during extended physical activity.

At the same time, areas exposed to greater wear, particularly the sleeves and shoulders, use tougher construction to provide the durability expected from tactical clothing. (raadtac.shop)

The shirt also incorporates practical features such as shoulder utility pockets and patch areas for identification, unit, name, rank or other authorized insignia. The overall cut is designed to maintain freedom of movement during dynamic activity. (raadtac.shop)

Designed to Work Under a Plate Carrier

A combat shirt cannot be evaluated in isolation.

For an operator, it becomes part of a complete system.

Once a plate carrier is worn, a large portion of the torso becomes covered. Heat buildup, friction and restricted movement can quickly become problems, particularly during summer operations.

This is one of the reasons breathability has remained such an important part of the Haider concept.

The shirt is intended to remain comfortable underneath body armour while the sleeves and exposed areas provide the structure and functionality required in the field. RAAD describes the current Haider as suitable both underneath body armour and as a standalone tactical shirt. (raadtac.shop)

For us, this distinction is important.

Haider is not simply a military-looking shirt. It is designed as part of an operator’s equipment system.

From a Pakistani Workshop to Operational Use

Perhaps the most meaningful part of the Haider story is seeing the shirt move beyond our workshop.

RAAD Tactical has had the opportunity to work on projects involving Pakistan’s security and law-enforcement community as the company has expanded from its early tactical clothing roots into a broader defence and tactical equipment manufacturer. (raadtac.shop)

Every time we see a Haider shirt being used professionally, it carries a different meaning for our team.

Someone selected that shirt.

Someone trusted it enough to wear it with their equipment.

And somewhere, that shirt may be accompanying a Pakistani serviceman through conditions far more demanding than anything we can reproduce during ordinary product development.

That is why field use matters so much to us.

When Your Product Becomes Part of Someone’s Story

There are moments as a manufacturer that cannot be measured through sales figures.

Seeing our Haider Combat Shirt being worn by Pakistani military and security personnel is one of them.

When photographs emerge from exercises, deployments and operational environments showing our equipment being used by the people it was designed for, there is an enormous sense of pride within the RAAD team.

But that pride also comes with responsibility.

A loose thread, uncomfortable seam, poorly positioned ventilation panel or weak piece of material may appear insignificant inside a workshop.

For the person wearing that equipment for hours in difficult conditions, it can matter.

This understanding has shaped how we look at tactical manufacturing.

Made in Pakistan Should Mean Something

For many years, imported tactical equipment has naturally carried a certain perception in Pakistan.

RAAD Tactical wants to help change that perception.

We believe Pakistani manufacturers should be capable of studying operational requirements, listening to end users, improving designs and producing professional tactical equipment locally.

The objective is not simply to put “Made in Pakistan” on a label.

The objective is to make that label represent capability, continuous development and confidence in Pakistani manufacturing.

The Haider Combat Shirt is one small part of that larger mission.

RAAD itself has grown from an operation that began with a small number of tactical shirts into a company working across tactical clothing, plate carriers, bags, belts, optics and other defence solutions. (raadtac.shop)

And in many ways, Haider reminds us where that journey started.

More Than a Combat Shirt

We do not consider Haider successful simply because we manufactured and sold a tactical shirt.

Its real success comes when the shirt leaves our facility and performs the job for which it was created.

Every Haider shirt seen in professional use gives our designers and production team another reason to improve the next one.

That is the culture RAAD Tactical wants to contribute to in Pakistan: locally developed tactical equipment that evolves through experience rather than remaining static.

The Haider Combat Shirt continues to evolve, just as the requirements of the people wearing it continue to evolve.

For RAAD Tactical, that process will never stop.
